Online Workshop: A New Perspective on Autism for Parents/Caregivers

Times: 5:30 PM – 6:45 PM ET

This FREE online workshop is designed to help parents/caregivers of teenagers and young adults with Autism shift your perspectives, allowing your family to experience more hope, appreciation, joy and unconditional love than you ever thought possible! The goal of this online workshop is to guide you from the old, stigmatized way of thinking about Autism (which we call the Red Zone) to a new place of understanding and empowerment (the Green Zone).

Employment Ready Course for Young Adults (18+) with Autism

Date: Begins Monday, October 5, 2020

Times: Monday to Thursday, 9:30 to 12:30 PM ET, for the duration of the 4-week online course

Has your child with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) been unsuccessful in gaining or maintaining employment? In partnership with Vocational Rehabilitation (VR), this 4-week online course is designed for ages 18+ to provide the clarity, tools, and knowledge needed to successfully enter into the workplace.

Self-Discovery Course for Young Adults (18+) with Autism

Date: Begins Monday, October 5, 2020

Times: Monday to Thursday, 9:30 to 12:30 PM ET, for the duration of the 2-week online course

This 2-week online course is designed for individuals ages 18+ on the Autism Spectrum who feel stuck and don’t know what their next steps are. This course takes students through a process of understanding themselves, their Autism, and the importance of social/emotional/physical well-being, providing the tools and techniques needed to create a clear path to the future.

Introduction to Meditation + Mindfulness for Parents/Caregivers

Date: Friday, October 9, 2020

Times: 4pm to 5:30pm ET

In this introductory workshop for parents and caregivers of individuals with Autism, we’ll explore meditation and mindfulness, explain what they are, examine how they are different, identify various styles and forms, and practice several techniques. Whether this is your first experience with meditation and mindfulness or you have a strong practice, this workshop, led by instructor Rebecca Fox, will deepen your understanding of meditation and mindfulness, while highlighting their foundational value in feeling more satisfaction and peace in your life.
