According to the CDC, about 1 in every 54 children have been diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder. Initially, the diagnosis might feel a little scary and lonely before you learn that autism does not have to be a barrier to achieving your goals and dreams.

There are plenty of famous people that live with autism and knowing that can really illustrate that someone with autism is just as capable of achieving great things as anyone else. There are actors, writers, artists, singers, lawyers, and much more who have been diagnosed with autism that are out there every day creating wonderful things. Below is a list of notable celebrities who have been diagnosed with autism and a brief summary of their accomplishments.

These celebrities are shining examples of what can be done while living with autism. While only representing a small portion of the autistic population, the range of talents exhibited by these well-known and inspirational people shows that people living with autism can be uniquely gifted.
